A junior high school version of the service organization “Kobe Kiwanis Club” is born, the third in Japan

The Kobe Kiwanis Builders Club, a junior high school club certified by the international social service organization Kiwanis Club, was established, and a certificate ceremony was held in Kobe on the 7th. This is the third junior high school club in Japan.

Approximately 80 people attended the award ceremony, including Kiwanis International Japan District Governor Shuji Miyazaki. After Kazuko Nakago, president of the Kobe Kiwanis Club, gave a congratulatory speech, saying, “We hope you will walk with us while dreaming big,” she gave a congratulatory address to the students of Marist International School (Suma Ward), Kansai Kokusai Gakuen Kobe School (Nada Ward), Canadian… Ten students at the Academy (Higashinada Ward) were presented with lapel pins and hats.

On behalf of the Kobe Kiwanis Builders Club, Anna Ishii (13), who has been appointed as president, and Moriya Asano (14), vice president, said, “Through volunteer activities, we learned the power of cooperation and leadership, and our small activities expanded.” “I want to work on it, believing that it will have an impact on the world,” he said of his aspirations.

Immediately afterwards, members of the Kobe Kiwanis Builders Club and the Kobe Kiwanis Club began picking up trash on the Suma Beach.
