Being a student here for over 9 years, Marist Brothers International School has truly become like a family to me. The school’s diverse and inclusive community has made student life always enjoyable and fun. All the teachers are not only respectful and kind, but also are dedicated in guiding students to success through entertaining and informative lectures. What I enjoy most about MBIS is the friendly and inviting atmosphere that the students create.
When I first joined Marist, I immediately felt welcomed and valued by my classmates and peers. This created a positive and warm learning environment, which I feel contributed the most to my academic and personal growth. Life at Marist has led me to make connections, have wonderful experiences and learn great lessons that will stick with me for the rest of my life.

I am a Grade 12 student at Marist, and I have been part of this community since Kindergarten. Growing up at Marist, I have come to appreciate its unique cultural diversity and inclusive spirit. With my mixed heritage – being Taiwanese and Nepalese – and having grown up in Japan, it could appear that I would struggle to find a sense of belonging. However, at Marist, I have always been embraced for who I am. My teachers and classmates have made me feel like family, and my unique cultural background has been valued and celebrated.
At first, I didn’t fully realize the warmth and acceptance that surrounded me here. But as I grew and gained a broader understanding of the world, I came to appreciate that such an inclusive and welcoming environment is not always the norm elsewhere.
