The English Department works in conjunction with the ESL Department to offer a seamless program for all MBIS students. The students are designated to the appropriate class level based on diagnostic testing and departmental referral. An excellent teacher – student ratio allows for small class sizes, ensuring maximum learning opportunities for all students. Academic and Honors level classes are offered, as are the intensive and demanding AP Language Arts courses: Language and Composition (Grade 11) and Literature and Composition (Grade 12).
